interesting neuropeople : Kevin Warwick
An interesting roboticist working on the direct communication btw machines and the human nervous system. As part of his Project Cyborg he inserted an RFID tag in his arm to control doors, light switches etc. Then he controlled a robotic arm via some computer interface via this tag . And then he had his wife implant the same chip so that they could have a technologically reinforced or enhanced empathy towards each other.
So he is somewhere close to Stelarc and Eduardo Kac but doesn’t have a gallery representation. He is somehow closer to Steve Mann as he supports his research interests with academic funding coming from the sciences/engineering.
